How to Use the Vaporesso Dojo Blast 10K: Setup, Pods and Troubleshooting

The Vaporesso Dojo Blast 10K is designed to be straightforward to use, but its 2ml pod and separate 8ml refill container make the setup slightly different from a standard prefilled pod kit.

Once you know how the two parts fit together, there isn't much else to learn. There's no manual filling, no separate coil to install and no power setting to choose.

In this guide, we'll take you through setting up your Dojo Blast 10K, changing the prefilled pods and dealing with some of the most common problems you might encounter.

How to Set Up the Vaporesso Dojo Blast 10K

Before you start, remove the device and prefilled components from their packaging and check for any protective stickers, seals or silicone plugs.

Then follow these steps:

Remove the protective seals. Check the pod and refill container carefully and remove the silicone plug and any protective stickers before assembly.

Connect the refill container and pod. Push the 8ml refill container firmly into the 2ml prefilled pod, making sure the two parts are properly connected.

Insert the assembled pod. Place the complete pod/refill unit into the top of the Dojo Blast battery and make sure it is seated securely.

Give the e-liquid time to reach the coil. With a new pod, we'd recommend leaving the assembled device upright for a few minutes before your first draw. This allows the e-liquid to saturate the coil properly.

Inhale to vape. There are no buttons to press. Simply take a steady draw through the mouthpiece and the Dojo Blast will activate automatically.

UK Vape Supply Tip: Don't rush straight into vaping a newly assembled pod. Giving the coil a couple of minutes to saturate helps reduce the chance of getting a dry or burnt first draw.

Using Your Dojo Blast 10K Day to Day

Once it's set up, there's very little you need to do.

The Dojo Blast uses inhale activation, so you don't need to switch it on before each use. It produces an MTL draw, which is best used with a steady inhale rather than pulling particularly hard on the mouthpiece.

You can also see the remaining e-liquid through the transparent section of the pod system. It's worth checking this periodically, particularly if you notice the flavour or vapour beginning to change.

The 1000mAh battery is rechargeable using USB-C. Battery life will depend on how frequently you vape, so rather than relying on a set number of hours, recharge when the device indicates that its battery is running low or you notice a drop in performance.

Keep the pod connections and charging port clean and dry, and store the device away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.

How Does the Dojo Blast 10K Auto-Refill System Work?

You don't manually refill the Dojo Blast with bottled e-liquid. Instead, each flavour pack combines a 2ml prefilled pod with an 8ml refill container. As you vape, e-liquid from the larger container feeds the pod, giving you 10ml of e-liquid in total.

This is also why we'd recommend keeping the device upright where practical and making sure the pod and refill container are properly connected. Once the e-liquid has been used, the prefilled system is replaced rather than opened and refilled.

How to Change a Dojo Blast 10K Pod

One of the main benefits of the Dojo Blast is that you don't replace the battery when the e-liquid runs out. You simply fit a new Dojo Blast 10K replacement pod.

  1. Remove the Old Pod

Hold the battery securely and pull the pod assembly upwards to remove it. There's no need to twist or unscrew it.

Take a quick look inside the connection area while the pod is out. If you can see condensation or small amounts of e-liquid, wipe the area gently with a clean, dry tissue.

  1. Prepare the New Pod

Take your new pod and refill container out of the packaging and remove all protective seals, stickers and silicone plugs. Connect the 8ml refill container to the 2ml pod firmly before inserting the complete unit into the battery.

  1. Insert the New Pod

Push the assembled pod into the device until it sits securely. Check that it is properly aligned and there isn't an obvious gap between the pod and battery.

  1. Let the New Pod Prime

Leave the device upright for around 2–3 minutes before vaping. This gives the e-liquid time to saturate the mesh coil before it is heated. Once you've allowed it to prime, take a steady draw and the device should activate automatically.

You can change to a different Dojo Blast flavour whenever you replace the finished pod, so you don't have to stick with the flavour originally supplied with your kit.

When Does a Dojo Blast 10K Pod Need Replacing?

The easiest indicator is the e-liquid itself. Because part of the system is visible, you can check how much remains rather than relying solely on the advertised puff count.

You may also notice vapour and flavour beginning to reduce as the pod reaches the end of its usable life.

Don't try to keep using an empty pod to reach the advertised 10,000 puffs. Puff counts are estimates and vary according to individual use. Once the e-liquid has gone, replace the pod rather than continuing to vape it and risking a burnt coil.

Dojo Blast 10K Troubleshooting

Most Dojo Blast problems are worth checking before assuming the device itself has failed.

Problem

What to Try

Dojo Blast isn't producing vapour

Check that all protective seals have been removed, the pod and refill container are fully connected and the complete unit is securely fitted. Charge the battery if necessary.

New pod isn't working

Remove it and check for a protective sticker or silicone seal you may have missed. Reassemble the pod and insert it firmly into the battery.

Flavour or vapour seems weak

Check the battery charge and remaining e-liquid. Make sure the refill container is feeding correctly and try taking slower, steadier draws.

Vape tastes burnt

Stop vaping and check the remaining e-liquid. With a new pod, make sure you've given the coil a few minutes to saturate before using it. A persistent burnt taste can mean the pod needs replacing

Dojo Blast is gurgling or spitting

Remove the pod and wipe away visible condensation around the pod and connection area. Reinsert it securely and avoid drawing excessively hard.

E-liquid is leaking

Check that the pod and refill container are connected correctly and inspect them for damage. Wipe away leaked liquid and replace the pod if it is cracked or continues to leak.

Device won't charge

Check the USB-C cable, power connection and charging port. Make sure the port is clean and completely dry before connecting a charger.

Still Not Working?

If the basic checks above don't solve the problem, don't attempt to open the battery or repair the device yourself.

Stop using the Dojo Blast if the battery becomes unusually hot, the casing is damaged, the charging port becomes wet or a significant amount of e-liquid leaks into the device.

If the battery appears fine but the problem is isolated to the pod, replacing it with a fresh genuine Dojo Blast 10K pod can help establish whether the issue is with the pod or the device itself.

A Few Tips From the UK Vape Supply Team

A little basic care should help you get the best experience from your Dojo Blast:

  1. Let new pods prime. Give a freshly assembled pod a couple of minutes before taking the first draw.
  1. Keep it clean. Wipe condensation from the pod and battery connections with a dry tissue when changing pods.
  1. Store it sensibly. Keep the device and spare pods somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
  1. Don't manually refill the pods. Dojo Blast pods are supplied as a closed prefilled system and should be replaced when empty.
  2. Don't chase the puff count. Replace the pod when its e-liquid is finished rather than continuing to use it because you think it should have more puffs left.

Keep Your Dojo Blast Going with Replacement Pods

Once you've set it up for the first time, the Vaporesso Dojo Blast 10K is a very low-maintenance kit. Keep the battery charged, check your remaining e-liquid and replace the prefilled pod system when it's finished.
