Important Update: Upcoming Vape Price Changes

At UK Vape Supply, we believe in being open and honest with our customers.

Over the past few months, there have been significant changes within the global vaping industry that are beginning to affect product costs worldwide. While we've worked hard to absorb these increases wherever possible, some pricing changes will unfortunately become necessary across parts of our range from next week.

We've delayed these increases for as long as possible and continue to work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to keep costs down wherever we can.

We wanted to explain what's happening, why it's happening, and what we're doing to minimise the impact for our customers.

Why Are Vape Prices Increasing?

The main reason behind these changes is a recent policy change in China, where the majority of the world's vape devices, pods, and hardware are manufactured.

For many years, Chinese manufacturers benefited from a 13% export tax rebate on vaping products. This rebate helped keep manufacturing and export costs lower, which in turn helped maintain competitive pricing across global markets.

From April 2026, that rebate was removed.

As a result, manufacturers are now facing higher export costs, and those costs are gradually making their way through the supply chain. Importers, wholesalers, and retailers across the industry are all beginning to feel the impact.

This isn't a UK tax, but because so many of the products sold in the UK are manufactured in China, it's a change that affects the entire vaping industry.

What Does This Mean for UK Vape Supply Customers?

Since these changes were announced, our focus has been on protecting customers from sudden price increases wherever possible.

We've worked closely with suppliers and brand partners to delay any adjustments and have continued selling many products at existing prices despite higher replacement costs entering the market.

Unfortunately, as newer stock arrives, some increases are becoming unavoidable.

Current examples include:

Brand

Expected Increase

IVG Kits & Refill Pods

Approximately 5%

SKE Kits & Pods

Approximately 7%

These figures may change as manufacturers finalise their own pricing structures, but we wanted to provide customers with as much notice as possible.

Our Commitment Hasn't Changed. Rising costs don't change what UK Vape Supply is about and our customers can still expect:

  • Competitive pricing across leading brands
  • Multi-buy savings wherever possible
  • Fast UK dispatch
  • Strong stock availability
  • Loyalty rewards for returning customers
  • Honest advice and support from our team

We'll continue looking for opportunities to offer value across the site, whether that's through promotions, bundle deals, multi-buy offers, or new product options.

How We're Responding

When the rebate changes were first announced, our priority was simple: avoid passing costs on to customers for as long as possible.

Over recent months we've worked closely with suppliers and manufacturers to minimise the impact wherever we can. In many cases, we've continued selling products at existing prices despite replacement stock costing significantly more.

We're also reviewing ranges across the site to make sure customers continue to have access to products at different price points, whether that's a prefilled pod kit, refill pod, nic salt, or refillable device.

Most importantly, we'll continue being transparent. If prices need to change, we'll explain why.

Should Customers Be Concerned?

In short, no.

While costs are changing behind the scenes, there are currently no concerns around product availability.

The vaping industry has adapted to major changes before, including product legislation, the disposable vape ban, and various regulatory updates. This latest development affects manufacturing costs rather than the products themselves.

Customers can continue purchasing their favourite devices, pods, and e-liquids as normal. The products aren't changing, and supply chains remain strong.

What we're seeing is a gradual increase in manufacturing costs rather than a disruption to availability.

Popular Products Available at Current Pricing

Many products are still available at current pricing levels while existing stock remains in the supply chain.

If you're looking to make your vaping budget go further, there are still plenty of options available across the UK Vape Supply range.

Prefilled Pod Kits

Rechargeable alternatives to disposable vapes from leading brands including IVG, SKE, Elf Bar, Hayati, Lost Mary, Pyne Pod, and more.

Prefilled Vape Pods

Replacement pods for your favourite pod kits, offering the same convenience and flavour with lower long-term costs than repeatedly replacing complete devices.

Nic Salt E-Liquids

A cost-effective option for refillable pod kit users, available in hundreds of flavours and nicotine strengths.

Refillable Pod Kits

An increasingly popular choice for vapers looking for lower ongoing costs, greater flexibility, and excellent long-term value.

If you're unsure which option is right for you, our team is always happy to help.

Looking Ahead

The vaping industry is likely to see further changes throughout 2026. Alongside the China export rebate changes, the industry is also preparing for the UK's Vaping Products Duty later this year. While there are still details to be confirmed, we'll continue monitoring developments closely and sharing updates whenever they affect our customers.

As always, our focus remains on offering great products, fair pricing, reliable service, and straightforward advice.

A Message From Our Team

Many of our customers have been shopping with us for years. Some place regular orders every week. Others stock shelves for their own businesses. Many simply rely on us to keep their favourite products available at competitive prices.

That's why we wanted to explain these changes openly rather than simply adjusting prices without explanation.

We've always believed that trust is built through honesty and consistency. While some price increases are now unavoidable, we're committed to managing them responsibly and keeping customers informed every step of the way.

We'd like to thank every customer who continues to support UK Vape Supply. Your loyalty means a great deal to us, and we'll continue doing everything we can to keep vaping affordable, accessible, and straightforward throughout 2026 and beyond.

Vape Price Increase: Frequently Asked Questions

What is the China vape rebate cut?

The China vape rebate cut refers to the cancellation of a 13% VAT export rebate that previously applied to vaping products manufactured in China. This rebate helped manufacturers reduce export costs. From April 1st 2026, it was removed, increasing costs throughout the global vape supply chain.

Why are vape prices increasing in 2026?

The main reason is the removal of China's 13% export rebate on vaping products. As manufacturers face higher export costs, those increases are gradually working their way through the supply chain and into UK retail pricing.

Is this a UK vape tax?

No. This is not a UK tax and has not been introduced by the UK Government. It is a Chinese export policy change that affects manufacturers supplying products to international markets.

Which vape products are most likely to be affected?

Products manufactured in China are most likely to experience pricing pressure, including:

  • Prefilled pod kits
  • Prefilled vape pods
  • Rechargeable vape kits
  • Starter kits
  • Vape hardware and accessories

UK-manufactured e-liquids are generally less exposed to this specific change.

Will all vape prices increase?

Not necessarily. Different manufacturers are responding in different ways, and some product categories may be affected more than others. We'll continue working closely with suppliers to keep any increases to a minimum wherever possible.

Should I stock up now?

There is no need to panic buy. However, customers who regularly purchase specific kits, pods, or devices may wish to take advantage of current pricing while existing stock remains available.

Will there be more price increases later in 2026?

Potentially. The industry is also preparing for the introduction of the UK's Vaping Products Duty later in 2026. As more information becomes available, we'll continue keeping customers informed through our website, email newsletters, and social channels.

When does the China vape rebate cut take effect?

The policy officially came into effect on April 1st 2026. Many businesses have been able to delay the impact by working through existing stock, but as newer shipments enter the supply chain, the effects are expected to become increasingly visible throughout the remainder of 2026.
